Why Join Our Studio?
Being part of our studio means more than just taking lessons — it’s about joining a supportive, engaging, and enriching musical community. Here’s what makes our studio experience stand out:

Recitals & Performance Practice
Students participate in regular studio recitals throughout the year, which provide valuable opportunities to perform polished pieces in a warm, encouraging environment. These events help students build stage presence, musical confidence, and the ability to perform under pressure — essential skills for any young musician.
In addition to recitals, students are invited to attend group classes throughout the semester, which reinforce ensemble playing, listening skills, and musical teamwork. Group settings also build community, motivation, and a sense of shared progress.
For students preparing for auditions, we offer NCHO and All-State intensives — focused workshops designed to help students prepare required materials, improve sight-reading, and receive feedback in a mock-audition format. These intensives are an invaluable resource for those pursuing competitive placement in regional and state-level ensembles.
Skilled Supportive Instruction
Lessons are led by a highly trained and experienced cellist and educator, dedicated to providing personalized guidance at every stage of learning. With a strong foundation in classical technique and pedagogy, students receive instruction that is age-appropriate, goal-oriented, and rooted in healthy playing habits. Whether you're a beginner or preparing for advanced auditions, you’ll receive expert feedback and clear strategies for growth.
